The wipers and pod display gets its power from the same place in the fuse box that you have checked, when the key is accessory position a relay on the rear of the fusebox energises and a line of fuses power up. Water in there can cause problems however even when dry the relay itself can fail ( burnt contacts) see pic below.

The 106 deg is very worring and needs urgent attention, if that is in fact the actual temperature do not drive the car or engine damage will be a real possibility, one of the most common thing that kills zed engines is overheat!!

Some sort of poor circulation issue, blocked rad, low water level, air lock, thermostat, could be a non standard water pump with less flow, or simply a failed viscous fan unit not spinning the blade quick enough.

thanks jeff iv not drove it since the temp gauge went a bit mental

i really want to get it down to you to ge it sorted out..i dont want to spend££££ when im saving up for a tt swap??(i should add the only time i want to use it is the 15th may for knockhill)

if you could give me a price on that then ill book it in for the end of august..i need the car for work but it be cheaper getting the train or bus till it gets fixed or the engine swap
