I've been struggling to fit all the clutch vacuum lines and tanks in place. So I've have had a bit of think and come up with this idea;

Connect the clutch booster vac line to the balance bar via a one way valve. My theory is that this will do away with the tanks but essentially provide the same function.

Am I right, or have I missed something?

that's fine matey, lots of people don't bother with the vac tanks.... when i did mine, i didn't have the vacuum tanks, so I extended the pipe over to the battery where i fitted a small vac tank from a primera (same as the cylinder one for the zed) and back again with a one way valve, works a treat!
