I had an idea to make the brackets that the upper arms attach to adjustable instead.So thanks to Ian (Vods) I have 'modified' 2 oe brackets with slots and a shit load of bracing/welding,hopefully to be up to the job!:detective:

There not pretty but the theory is sound (I Think!)

I got hold of 4 motorbike chain 'snail' cams to use A. for adjustment and B.for a mechanical hold of the bolt so it doesn't solely rely on the 'pinch' to stay put!

With bolts and cams fitted,

This shows the adjustment range,bottom is least (stock) top is positive,should be plenty!

Just waiting on a couple of new bolts now,the originals are too short to get a full nut,lets hope I can get the o/s wheel straight with these fitted!:hammer:

good work. i like stuff like this, wish i had more time to fiddle

:scared::scared:-me too mate!:ph34r:

I like your idea a ton!! I for one dont trust the "adjustable" I shaped aftermarket FUCA's at all. I think they just have to many points of failure , I can think of 8 just off the top of my head. You should post this on 300zxclub.com forums in the US. Or if you dont mind , I will post a link.

Exactly why I did these mate!-you can always uprate the upper link bushes but I don't trust the adjustable jobbies,the good ones are way too expensive!

As for the link mate,post away!:wink:

To this........

I'll have to see if it's enough to stop the tyre scrubbing off,if not I'll be looking for a complete O/S suspension!:ph34r:

Seeing as it's been a nice day I re-painted the N/S door where some W@nker had keyed the side..........

Hopefully give it a buff Tomorrow!

And yes done with the trusty Aerosols again! LOL!:chinese:

I could live with that alignment. What I think I am going to do is take my adjustable FUCA's off and measure the difference between them and my stock ones and adjust my holes in the braket accordinally. Weld up a couple of plates on the outside and redrill only one set of holes. If I need a little less camber I can always add a hardened steel spacer. I would gain a little softer ride + feel a lot safer with Nissans original stuff. Between the mountain passes and track days I dont think I will see anymore unsual wear than I have now. Im glad you did this , I had been thinking about it for a while...not very well recieved by the forum btw. LOL , their loss. Good job Mate.!
