Tickety tick

Right, I'm having a bit of a love hate relationship at the moment:

She runs fine, and pulls like a train, gave it a bit of beans over the weekend, and she was great, never misseda beat. But this morning when i started her up there was a slight high pitched whine (sounded a bit like belts) but this stopped after about a minute or 2 as she warmed up.

However.... she has started to make a tickety tick type noise which sounds a bit tappety? (my knowledge is limited so might be way off the mark here) I have tried to take a video with sound, but you can't really hear it properly.

What could it be guys? She seems to run fine, full boost, no dodgy smells of fuel or electrical faults...

Your help, suggestions and advice would be very welcome.

It could be valve lifters or vvt springs. If its valve lifters you can get some wynns valve lifter treatment, that sometimes does the trick, but not a garuanteed fix. The vvt springs are really cheap but need the cam covers off to get to them, but nothing major.
