Which 350Z alloys are they? There was two styles for the UK cars, the RAYS being the better version. The Jap market also had a 17 inch option. The tyres will need changing though to suit the Zed's rolling circumference. Check out my rides for pics with the 350Z Rays wheels.

hi , they are the 18s but not the same as yours ! re tyres when you say they need to be changed , what will be effected by not changin them ? I was thinking of using them with the tyres on ya see ad they are good tyres and I cant afford new tyres straight away !

Don't panic mate, little effect tbh so wap em on.

Link to where buying or pics?

Well apart from being 29mm larger diameter than stock ;)

I would check to ensure it wont rub on anything, in particular the fronts at full lock.

Is your Z import or UK spec ? if its UK you may find that will invalidate insurance because your rear tyres would be under stock width ...

If he's fitting aftermarket wheels then ideally he should notify the insurance company anyway, so tyre width is irrelevant.

I can't look at ebay from work, but even if they are the 18's, with a few hundred Zeds wearing 18's and even bigger, i can't see it being a problem.

If you don't change the tyres to the correct size then your speedo reading will be incorrect.

Yep, yours is an import then, UK cars have 245/45 rears.

Its more because those tyres on the wheels linked are 45 profile, should be a 40 to be correct for 225 on 18's.

I don't know how much leeway there is for the extra diameter, thats why I mentioned it :)

Somehow being a couple MPH out until the tyres wear down ready to be changed isn't going to be a biggie when the poor guys getting stressed finding a nice set that he likes and fits IMO

hang out mate till you find something better than a 225 tire on a 18" rim as its going to look like it has pedal bike wheels:ph34r:

like it lol can also use my sat nav !

TBH mate as i said i can't see the ebay link until am home.

But if the tyres have really good wear on them, then sod it soon as they wear down and on Zeds that can be quickly lol change the rears to a 245, job done!

As for yours being a UK or Jap, stick a couple of pics up, but if your rear bumper is standard it should have fog lights built into it and your front bumper should have dummy corner lights in it to be a UK model

smithy

It should state on the logbook if its imported ?

Maybe its had the wrong tyres or wheels put on it, uk cars had wider rear rims and 245/45 tyres on the back as standard.
