I would like to pose this question.. when you get a dying or spark plug going bad plug in a ZTT,

what symptoms are you likely to get? something is not quite right....anyone had running probs that was cured by new plugs?:helpsmilie:

Process of elimination, if your getting it on the one bank, simply change the spark plug / coil pack over to the other bank and see if you can replicate the same symptoms on the other side.

 

if you can, and the original side clears up, change your coil pack back and try again, if it stays on the same side. its the plug. if the symptoms move back over to the other bank, its the coilpack. if it doesnt, then its something else, check the connector on the CAS, and clean it up. if that solves it. it was just dirt build up.

 

If not, move onto the PTU and clean the connectors on that. or replace for a known working one.

 

But would help if you said what your experiencing so we can narrow it down better.

I have cleaned loads of connectors, basically the car has a bit of a lumpy idle.. its an auto so it is now jerky when in drive and your foot is on the brake, it starts fine, just idles a bit strange,with a bit of hessitation when you blip the accelerator..!
