can do it with the engine in, but getting the engine out is easy and you can do other jobs at the same time..

just guaging as many opinions as i can is all mate before i decide to pull the egine out to then be told there was an easier way

the garage i use does them easy with the engine in, and less chance of disturbing things you don,t need to,,, i use D2 in strood in kent,,, top zed specialist, he's worked on them since they were first out,.

i have my own pitt to work in and a pretty well equipt workshop have swopped the engine once before already

It,s a damn site easier with the engine out bud , the only down side is all the extra bits you end up replacing cos of things breaking whilst taking it apart , finding all those perished pipes and connectors and stuff but on the upside once all those little bits are done it does help give you trouble free motoring .

I did this myself and never had any of those niggly little problems again , no pipes springing leaks and dodgy connections causing running issues .HTH
