Something i have found through trial and error whilst cleaning my injector and coil pack connectors,

i have wrapped all my wires with electrical insulating tape, you know the black stuff everyone uses

well around the top of the plennum it gets very hot this has made the tape quite hard and the problem arrises at the connector ends where the wires tend to twist easy becouse the trailing wires have been wrapped with tape and are now hard,

i found my det sensor connector wires snapped at both ends as the insul tape had hardned and was letting the wires twist easy

now i have stripped the tape off and used self amalgamating tape that is a lot more flexible and having wrapped around the connectors too a lot more support for the delicate wiring

hope this helps someone:biggrin:

The problem with self amalgamating tape is it dose what it says. I amelgimates together and you can not unwind it at a later date, as it all becomes one.
