opinion on possible choice of colour.

right im just toying with the idea at the moment, but i saw a photo of a 1969 corvette in a colour called riverside gold metallic and i think the zed would look great in it,

I think I'd feekin think so.

The Z was available in Gold as a standard colour for the U.S Market. Its not going to be exactly same colour but should give a good idea of how it will look :

I've always liked it, but I can imagine it wont be to everyones taste.

I thought it would loko like a rotten pile of shite in gold.

But I actualy really like it

thanks again mate, will probably be easier to get hold of then the corvette paint.

Give the pait code to any paint shop and they will mix it for you mate ;)

Maybe because the gold on the Zed looks like gold, rather than the gold on the vette that looks like a light brown.

yeah, the vett looks like the contents of a baby's nappy, but oooooohh, i would love one, just not in nappy fudge colour! and the gold zed looks lovely i think :)

i actually kinda like it after first look. but the zed looks best in the last pic with the darker alloys etc to set it off as stndard its just too overpowering.

i love the old corvettes the colour looks much better in person, was the only picture i could find quickly,

but yeah agree with Z32bolt, looks really good with darker alloys.

its got to be done now, wont be doing it till June-July time, but ill make sure i put some pictures up.

Its quite a rare colour in the U.S, be good to see one in that Colour over here. I really like it.

There was a thread on 300zxclub.com of just gold Z's, but I cant find it now. Will post it up if I do.

I was thinking the same!

I also thought that about the burnt orange colour the 350z came in - but that can also look good on a Z32.....

Richard:cool2:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
