Hey,

I am curious to know how many of you guys if any have issues going over humps while driving the 300zx. I know a guy who has to go sideways on humps cause he is too low, i didnt really want to do that.

All humps are HUGE in london!

Nope, ive not got any issues.

Where i live, we have the ones that look like blobs of tarmac, randomly dropped onto the road. I drive over them with a wheel on each bump and the clearances are fine.

Edit: mine aint standard ride height either.

ahh great to know, was just worried about that and no i would drop drop it that low :)

Ive not had any problems with mine. but i do somethime have to think if i will fit on some b road laybyes and mot time is fun as well lol!!!

yep, there are some bumps round me which hits the exhaust, and my car isnt lowered. to be fair, the bumps are ginormous - such a stupid design why bother making a car park that people with cars cannot use?!?

dont get me started on speed humps. bloody hate the damn things. there are a few roads i cant even get down and the distance from the front of the bumper to the front wheels just doesnt give me enough clearance. dreading the day i go down a one way street just to encounter a speed hump i cant use. with traffic behind me.

I hate them too....always hitting bumpers and exhausts. I try to drive as slowly and as sideways as possible but it's not always so simple...but go slow enough and you should be fine unless it's a mini-everest...with vertical sides!

i dont have a problem as long as i take it slow. if i leave a hump too fast I get a bit of scrubbage on the nearside front arch :(

If i leave a speed hump to fast, everyone plays pogo in the car. bouncing uncontrollably in some very funny but ultimately "your a bloody numpty for having it so low and hard" fashion.

comical to watch. but not be a part of.

Yep I have issues as I have a front spoiler and it tends to get the underside scraped. Worst one is coming down an incline to a largish speed bump. It's high anyway but approaching it on the incline makes it even worse. I avoid it now!

I hate speed humps with a vengance; but I normally get over them fine........

......until I visited Voddy that is:no: Damn nightmare getting to his house:wacko:

Personally I can't see the point - if the speed limit is 30mph then one should be free to do 30mph and not have to slow to 1mph every 50 metres:surrender:

Richard:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Spot on!

Will be no problem aj unless you lower your zed stupidly low.

Some of the ones en route to my parents' house in Leyton are hooge - Capworth street has a couple that might cause problems for the odd 4x4......:scared:

we have some massive ones round here even at standard ride hight you have to go over them in the single figures. really puts me off dropping it. plus the fact that the rac wont tow lowered cars...... did you know that?

I've never had any problems with being towed by the RAC. My ignition switch failed on me and they towed it to a local autospark for me.
