Following on from my last thread about a 7 hour detail I did on an Alfa 155, a few of you seemed interested to see what I can do for you.

Obviously, a tired old car with mouldy bits and fading paint is going to be radically transformed by a good session (see last thread!), but any car can definitely benefit from a little enhancement and protection.

I have done detailing and valeting professionally and the price for a full day on one car, including machine polishing and removing parts/wheels, started at £250 and went upwards (quite a long way in some cases - you try doing all that to a Hummer!!! 3 days it took!). Now, I'm not saying I'd charge that sort of price for working on a Z, but for a full days work like I did on the Alfa I'd be looking at £150 (including materials). Obviously if you didn't need quite such an intensive job doing then we could work something out - bespoke detailing, if you will :).

Plus, as I am not a 'mobile detailer' I would need you to bring the car to me, where you could leave me to it or get involved yourself to pick up some tips/knowledge.

So, would anyone be genuinely interested in this sort of thing?

I think it would be a good idea to get yourself added to services to members section. Send a PM to Richard Smith or Kim with details of what you have to offer.

Cheers

Graham

And I am partial to Alfa's too, as you know ;)

great idea Peach - my poor old Z only sees a few buckets of hot water every now and then so I might treat her to a full Peachy-Clean in the near future :D

Ditto mate - it's a great idea!

This is the kind of thing Graham is referring to:

Do let me know how you'd like your "ad" to appear and I'll sort it for you.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

220 mile round trip for me unfortunately. That's a lot of lotion motion at 140p a litre!!!
