I never really understood why people have vented nose panels, not when the air filter is down behind the front bumper...

 

Is it to cool the radiator? or just aesthetic?

 

Also, technically, 'ram' air scoops need a direct connection to the air filter to allow an increase in intake pressure, hence 'ram' air into the engine. The most recent Bristol supercar uses this to get another 5-10% power when travelling at speed. Don't think it would work with our MAF sensors though :lol:
