I think you can tax it one or two days before the start of the month, but with the weekend I am sure you can do it on Monday for March onwards.

Certainly not drive it before you tax it - I cannot condone that :tt2:

i know when my Z was SORN for the winter i was told i could tax it a week earlier than the start of the month but the man in the post office said NO! if its been SORN!

You can Tax it today but the tax will run from the first of feb, SO! your going to have to cross your legs

By the way its upto £1000 fine if your caught driving whilst its on SORN

You can buy tax 3 or 4 days before the start of the following month, but you can't legally drive it on that disk until the month actually starts.

i can get trade plates but i will just wait till march, its only tuesday, gonna be a long wait

I would tax it from the 1st of March and put the disc on straight away.

Obviously the car is MOTd and insured as you would not be able to tax it if it wasn't - but technically you cannot drive it until 1st March when the tax becomes valid. And that means not storing the car on the public road either.....

.......then whether you decide if you can resist it or not for a few days is a matter for your conscience Allan.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
