Hi Guys,

Got a strange noise in the cabin. it starts when you click the key to ign, once started, it still remains, and when you switch it off the noise eases off slowly.

The noise is similar to the noise you would hear with fluid going through a pump but the pump bearing has broken up.

Any ideas?

Rich

Check the little fan housing near the rear single over head valet light, I had a similar noise that turned out to be that little fan

Seem to have sorted this one, spent 15 mins trying to "zoom" into the noise, could I ? could i heck, bl00dy thing kept moving around. Went to the back, sounded like coming from the front went pass side, same thing, sounds like coming from the drivers side. And then, like right out of a movie sketch, i.m sitting in the drivers seat, racking my brains, when i start to look up, right up to the overhead light switches, and there it was, coming right out of the lights. Of course it doesn't help only having 1 good ear, makes my sense of direction pretty sh1te.

Next step is to find out what the noise is!
