Not too good !

You need to get some keywords added to your pages as meta tags!

You want to find any words related to you or zeds so that your site will

show up in the results.

At the moment just typing zedworld in google doesn't show any results!

Yes dont understand the issue as there are at least 10 imbeded meta tags on each page, and a Google search for Zedworld I just did bought up a full page of hits?? here:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&source=hp&biw=1020&bih=567&q=Zedworld&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&aqi=g1g-sx4g-v1g-sv1g-v3&aql=&oq=

Jeff TT

Lol,

I searched for zworld not zedworld !

Maybe you should add zworld to the metatags so idiots

like me can find you on google !

lol, strange but true, zworld would work, along with some other key words and letters, zx, 300zx, mot, cars and the likes, if you add these as meta tags, your website has more chance of being seen/found Jeff...........

This is what is in use at the moment, surely enoug here?

highlighted mistake in red bud.

Hi Jeff, I won't bore you with too much of this, it's what me and the missus do for a living, but basically, stuffing keywords in the meta tags won't work, for a start, Google doesn't really use keywords anymore, it uses the description, title and actual content of the page, and they all need to line up both grammatically and in the actual words you use.

If you happen to be looking for a new website with SEO thrown in I'm sure we could strike up a deal that related to our Z having some bits/work done lol

BTW I've emailed you twice now and no reply, lol, I need a price to bring the Z down and get it sorted out properly. Allegedly it has aftermarket turbos that are turned down to minimum boost on the adjustable actuators etc. Need a pro to look at it and tell me what needs doing.

This is what is in use at the moment, surely enoug here?

Sorry Jeff, looks like you have all the words covered there........:punk:

I agree .... put zworld in as well and software only has one 't' .... sorry

i use AOL and if i put in zedworld it goes straight to your site and if i put in 300zx you are on the first page and 6th on the list.

The above is true regarding meta tags but since google is not the only search engine

out there i would still keep them for that as ASK and Yahoo still use keywords.

Google tends to search the description and does a word count on your site

using the most frequent uses words to index your site.

I did ensure the meta tags were from text also on the pages, I also have invisable text ( cloured same as background) for the searches to find.

Once had an issue with a site called Bedworld that was ahead on the ratings on the Google site but that seems to not be an issue any longer, I do actively update lesser known search or review sites with our details and try to link it to as many other sites that I can.

Believe it or not, invisible text now makes things worse, the Google robot inspects the style elements of the text on the page and if it is the same colour as the background of the page or the element directly behind it (i.e. a div) it discounts that text and actually marks you DOWN for using old SEO tricks that it thinks are dis-honest (NOTE: I said IT thinks are dis-honest, not me lol)

The keywords are still used by things like Ask and Yahoo, but Google has such a huge market share these days it's almost not worth looking at them in SEO terms when you're doing it yourself. Obviously we do when we're doing it for someone, but if you're doing things yourself, just concentrate on the big player(s).

Something that might help Website Grader if you really want to analyse it and improve it.

EDIT: Also Rose just mentioned Metachecker.net is another good one to help, it checks the relevance of the keywords/description etc to the body of the page.
