As this ever happened to you and if it as what caused it.

Picture this im sat in my front room drink in my hand watching a dvd when I hear a car horn going off. So I look out of my window only to find its mine blasting out the street as if I was sat inside with my hand on the horn. Now I have never connected my horn to my alarm so I no its not that plus the alam was not sounding. So I ran out side popped the bonnet and disconnected the battery as its far to late and dark to sort right now. Even though I dont no were to start. So back to my question As this ever happened to you

Exactly that happened to me a few years ago. My scooby horn going off, about 3 in the morning, put it down to a flat battery. Did like you and disconnected the battery.

Awoken 2 nights later by two little scrotes trying to nick it, got down the stairs (live in a maisonette) and outside, but as i opened the door the 'security' light came on and they scarpered. I swear to this day it was Ben Johnson and Carl Lewis, even with all the adrenaline and being quite fit at the time there was no way I was catching them.

In some ways i'm glad I didn't, don't think i've ever been so angry. Still fooks me right off thinking about it!!!!

Same kind of thing happened to me as I was about to drive off, the horn wire unpluged it's self and shorted on the aftermarket hub.

Yup its happened to me too.....horn just stayed on constant one nite (pleased the neighbours) must of been on for hours as i was out to dinner with the missus, had to pop the bonnet and disconnect the horn.

Connected it back up a few months back, but it hasnt worked since...no popped fuses and all connections are fine. Very strange...its on my list of "to-do's"

Had this on my old 300 a couple of years ago, was it raining at the time as mine was caused by water from blocked targa drain dripping down the back of the glove box on to a multiplug.

yeah came back from shopping and my horn had been blasting for an hour my neighbour told me but since i dont talk to any of them really i didnt care that much
