The diff on the old girl is starting to get a bit whiney so gonna change the oil on her!

Looking for some advice as to what oil/additives to put in the LSD and how muhc is needed? :helpsmilie:

Yeah I found that out the hard (Expensive) way once, first one I ever did, Ford Capri 2.8i V6, had to change the diff completely lol.

 

As for the torque wrench, it was an older one (Which I still have for just such leverage requirements) where it won't register the torque properly, but still functions as a big wrench for tough bolts :D

Got the oil for my diff today and changed it and it sounds the same really. When I was under I had a look but couldn't come across any markings, but the diff is either blue or has been painted blue (for whatever reason) so I'm hoping it is an aftermarket one and isn't on it's way out!
