Just went down to the spar shop in the Z, pulled up and these two little kids about 11 or 12 were riding around on their bikes, one of them says "Nice car mate ....... what is it?", then the other one says "It's a Nissan" and looks at me and says, "Skyline?". LMFAO

 

He said it as if the Skyline was the only fast car Nissan ever made! I've had a GTR and yes they're fast, but so is the Z lol.

Yeah...same here...attracts young boys...not hot girls as hoped. lol

 

One kid I spoke to compared my Zed to a Ferrari. I explained it wasn't quite as fast as that.

I remember parking outside a small parade of shops in my red ZX, behind a Micra. The old fella in the Micra was admiring the ZX ans asked me what it was...

 

....I told him it was a Nissan to which he replied "Nissan don't make cars like that!"

After collecting my 2 boys from school, my 7yr old's friend (almost missed the 's off then, that woulda sounded iffy :wacko:) saw mine and said "wow do you drive that ?" my bloody 5 yr old replied "only to someone to fix it" I wasn't happy as I was talking to his friends mum, "its been serviced, not fixed you little sh...." :lol:

A few years ago when the paint on my zed had been detailed a chap in the petrol station I was at said " Thats the first 09 car I have seen, its beautiful what is it?" I explaned it was nearly 20 years old and it was a nissan.

My number plate is G709 *** He thought is was a brand new ferrari LOL

Ha thats a classic, the old bloke accross the street (who reckoned the Supra on my drive was an aston martin or something when I first moved into the street) thought the Zed was newish like an 08-09, I said well it's about 17 year old pointing at the M on the reg plate, he thought it was a private plate...

 

...to which I said "nope" shaking my head and to which he then pointed out the last four digits and said "well it clearly says 'DOGS".....

 

Which I then noticed it did lol, well it says 0OGS

 

I might sell it to a dog enthusiast lol.

 

Sorry for going off on one there but thats how the conversation went lol.

 

Oh and just to add, no he had no idea what the Zed was either, (I wasn't surprised there then) he took a stab at porsche then I put him out of his mysery, not literally of course, I told him it was a 300ZX and still looked vacant so I said it was a nissan and he didn't and still doesn't believe me.

 

I might show him the owners manual next time he's out watering his plants.

never had anyone ask what it is. had a few mercs etc try and race it and been left looking fairly stupid. i did see this guy a while ago that used to give me a hard time in school. i was out in the zed it was summer the ttops where off my mrs was looking good in the passenger seat should of seen his chav ass face! pricesless

I had a moment like that one with the GTR. I pulled into a kwik fit with my GTR, fully suited up from work, car was gleaming and I ordered a pair of spanking new Eagle F1s for the rears, the guy told me to pull the car in, and the fitter (Then only 20 so getting naff all wages for his troubles at Kwik Fit) was the same guy that had punched me in the face when we were 15. The look on his face was absolutely priceless.

Funnily enough, I've considered a lambo door conversion on the Z, would make getting in and out LOADS easier, one of the few things I don't like about the car is parking next to other people, if I can find one on the end or with no one in the bay next to me, I park there, the doors are so bloody long and the car is so bloody low!

Somebody went round my parents house and asked why they had a porche in the garage..

i had a guy in a skyline at mcdonald turn around and say to me "nice supra" and in the same sentence say how he had one?

 

Always amazes me how every other person you speak too "knows" someone who used to own one, once you let them know what it is.

 

But had a few of the kids around my area asking what it is, i just look at them and say "its a Nissan" they never believe me.

 

Had one kid say "nice lambo" before and another ask if it was a kronegggsegggggegegege (lol)

 

Oh forgot to add, had a chav pull up in my carpark and say that he could fit the engine in his corsa lol

Got asked if it was a Zonda once...my some lads in their late teens :rolleyes: and had small kids refer to it as a "race car".

I pulled up at Tesco petrol station one night and cop car on the next pump was having a good look and the WPC got out and asked what car it was. Probably so they know what they are chasing next time :lol:

 

And today picked up the little un from school and heard a little kid tell his mum "theres a Lambourghini muira" :no::lol:

 

It is debadged and doesnt look stock, so i suppose it could be anything to someone who doesnt know lol
