I have a 99 version S, it doesnt have the rear spoiler and my question to you guys is, would you add the 99 spec rear spoiler or would you leave it as it came from the factory?

Hence my comment that I cant read Japanese :D

Just see it here at the bottom of page 18! I might try an scan or photograph it and ask a friend that can read Japanese.

Thats unusual,

It looks like a series 3/4 but it has the heater controls from the series 1/2. Must have been some hybrid crossover or something!

I was about to make you an offer for the black one - until I saw that funny looking gear lever and realised it was a auto :hurl:

Great purchases - truly, you are a man who can have your cake and eat it! :censored:

Welcome back to the fold, hope you enjoy 'em

And leave the version S exactly how it is - immaculate and unmolested :tt1:

Call yourself a piston-head! :tt2: Ya need to learn up on the zeds :lol::lol:

(oooh sweet sweet revenge.lol)

'Next time Gadget, next time' :shifty:

OK, allow me to explain. Someone on here was on about turning a series 4 interior into a series 2 by retro fitting some of the controls. The problem was, when you come to fit the heater pods, there aren't enough wires or connections to allow this due to a different loom? So (erroneously), I assumed because of Nissan's cost cutting measures, it was not possible to have climate control on a series 3 or 4. I knew a lot of stuff made a return on the '99 spec (like boost gauge etc), but was under the impression the series 3 and 4 were the poor relations - hence why someone would want to retro fit a series 2 interior into a series 4.

So, lengthy excuse over - can I fit climate controls to my Zed ('95)?

Machine Platinum

Hi Baz,

Is that what it says in the pic I posted? or is that you taking a guess at what the color is? Machine Platinum sounds like it fits the bill!

from day 1 I've thought to remove my rear spoiler, a horrid Jap spec 95 version ( the 'horseshoe', is that right?). your pictures have helped me decide. thx.

and the rear wiper is going same day I now think, so double thx for the unintended assist, Sir.

Nice one Sudesh its in my favorites now :thumbup1:

Just had a scan through the site Gary using the translator and its not a bad read!

For example: EV1 paint code is a special order and called, Lightning Yellow.

Also learned my car has UV cut glass and actually noticed the OEM decal is still on my window which says "UV CUT"

Gary I read that KH3 is called "Onyx Super Black" which is the paint code of my 95 car. I also like the midnight purple car, there are 2 available that I know off in Japan but not cheap.

And this being my 300th post matches the great cars of the club lol

Plus it has been on that site for well over a year now may be two is this common?

Yes very common from what I have seen based on late spec Japanese super coupes as I call them, which are the ZX, GTO, RX7 and in a much higher bracket, the NSX.
