My car is in perfect condition , with no need for additional repairs, no scratches, dings, special marks whatsoever, never been involved in any accidents. The interior looks great (NO SMOKING). It has 77,000 miles , manual transmission , 1,986 cc , silver exterior and black interior .

I have a clear and clean title for it , no liens or loans ready to be signed and notarized on your name ... My final price is is £1,100 ( not negotiable . no trades ) . Because of my divorce settlement , i own this car and as a woman without driver`s license i don`t need it so i`m trying to get rid of it as soon as possible ( that`s why i`m selling it so cheap ) . All documents, including owner's manual, clear title and a bill of sale on your name will be provided along with the car .

 

We will use eBay`s Vehicle Purchase Protection plan for our both safety , i want only legit transactions . If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name and full address so I can initiate the deal through eBay ( with no further obligation or fees )...

Exact same advert appeared in Gumtree in Portsmouth and Essex so like Bantambunny said, shadier than a shady thing!

Car ad's gone now, was obviously some sort of phishing ploy - after all, if you wanna sell a car, you tell someone where they can view it, not ask for all their details....

you could just say that you want to come and pay cash on collection - just in case it is legit and you might well be getting a great deal, if it's not then you won't hear back from them. But i agree, i don't like the sound of someone asking for all my details when i want to buy something??

I think the weird broken English was a bit of a giveaway but the ads have all been take off Gumtree now

And on the Isle of Wight plus a few other places Jane - I agree there's a faint smell of haddock surrounding this one!!

 

If she was local to you and you could see the car and papers etc right away; then maybe there could have been a hint of a genuine sale about it.....

 

......but just as 2+2=6; something does not add up!!

 

Shame as it could have been ideal. Still, keep looking and I'm sure something will turn up!

The ads were all pulled in the end. So I'm still looking for a car! Can't find anything around. Considered a Saab http://middlesbrough.gumtree.com/middlesbrough/80/72666180.html

but can't get to see the car and I know v little about them - and no history according to the seller
