Where to buy good engine rebuild kit ? And What guys you can say before I start a rebuild, what do I need or how to do it? What parts I can change to get more bhp example like under pulleys? please give me some advise guys.

Is this list enough to rebuild engine?

 

1. Full Gasket Kit

2. New Nissan OEM Rings and Bearings

3. New Nissan OEM Oil and Water Pumps

4. Timing belt

 

anything else?

depends what your experience is on rebuilding engines and how big your wallet is.

i am self taught mechanic and do all my work on my zed, the rebuild process of a zed engine would be complex and i wouldnt tackle it. but if you have the time and space then try it.

Other guys on here are faced with the same, an engine swap is easier, get a decent 2nd hand one, with upgrades there are big powers to gain.

The option i would go if i needed a rebuild would be either-

Jimmer (member on here) as all i read about his work is great, or

Zedworld (trader on here) they too have vast zed knowledge.

Both have a good reputation, for doing stuff well.

I know vg30dett engine is not most simple engine in the world. but I have time and garage where to work. I am not pro mechanic but I know about a cars and Z. But a lot my friends is pros mechanics and know how to do best job. So If I will have some problems they will give me some help. So I am just thinking to just main rebuild because my engine is leaking oil little bit. So I am thinking to buy rebuild kit, which needs oil pump, water pump, timing belt, main bearings and to clean everything up. So what you will advice me before I do? anything?
