Yes I had one but not a rare miller it was a 2.0 V6 and was a lovely car great spec and drove well but I did find it hard to sell on as not many people know they existed. That was 7 or 8 years ago so watch out for condition and reliability of cars for sale now.

Ha, Gary, I KNEW you'd reply having had one!!!

I have already thought that re-sell might be difficult but its only about 700 quid as i recall - not sure, Marc's spotted in on ebay I think, aha

LOL 4 years ago I was a trader selling cars so I have had a lot of cars through my hands.

The one on ebay looks nice it has big miles but full mot and not big money I see there are 3 offers on it worth at least £500 all day:)

Mileage doesn't put me off but good to get yuor valued opinion! If nursing doesn't work out for me I am going to be a car dealer

Nice cars Janus, I once had the 626 Mazda, only 2.0L but a fantastic car, so reliable, and could really shift, I recon you would not be dissapointed with the one you are looking at.

Second hand car dealing is dead so stick to nursing Janus:biggrin:

Lol, as IF I am not gonna be a top nurse!!!

thanks, I've had a mazda before, top notch car it was, so def hoping to test drive this one tomorrow!

i had the 2.0 it was revvy and easy to bounce it off the rev limiter if your not careful super smooth ...gearbox was lovely ....clutch was light brakes progressive and it handled well considering the ride was so soft ..well fitted inside but the seats got very grubby very quickly and the headliner looked like an egyptians toilet ...no head room in the back and limited in the front as well ...not the most economical of cars i have ever owned especialy if only doing short runs

Had a Mazda Xedos 6 2.0 V6 for a short while. It was a bit bland tbh. Cheap interior, smooth but not very powerfull engine, cant say I would really reccomend one.

This is the rare, 2.3V6 miller cycle engine tho, fully loaded and about 210bhp I think

guess we need to see that car - and its Marc's money, not mine so ultimately his decision. Given his last car was a Ford Probe, he likes "different" cars so it could be right for him....

Going to see this car in the morning, will report back. Just realised Marc needs a car sooner than I'm gonna get mine sorted, he starts his nurse training next Monday, 2 weeks of uni and then its straight into placements, eek!

dont buy it if you think your going to need to sell it...my bricklayer had one and could'nt give it away, nice car aswell

gary reckons about 500 notes tops, so might be worth a gamble. end of the day, its Marc's decision - and he's worse than me for changing his mind lol!

Seems a lot of car for not much cash there......

.....but if you're both studying then keep an eye on those running costs! That aside, it looks a tidy example, especially considering the mileage.

For that age and price, I'd not worry about re-sale value as you should be able to get most of your money back if you changed your mind!

Good luck,

Richard:chef:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Janus don't become a car dealer because you will bomb completely if you spend £1300 on a 98 Corolla again lol

Also there are FAR superior cars available for £500 over that turd
