Had problems with the passenger side electric window - won't operate from drivers side switch. It sounds like (clicking noise)that there is a solenoid that controlls the windows. The click comes from the centre of the dash. Question is, is there a solenoid and where is it and what does it look like - big, small, colour etc.

Any ideas would be appreciated, I've tried everything including replacing the winder mech and motor and checking the switches.

should be a relay that you are hearing. if it is clicking that means that you are geting power from the drivers side but does not mean that the relay is swithing properly.

I am not sure where the relay is but find it and try that(may not be relay sized could be a controll box for power windiws ie size of fag packet!)

hope this helps(probably not!!)
