its ugly i dont do radio and id like it to stay down rather than popping up every time i turn the key. so where the wire to disconnect. or fuse to pull.

disconnect the wire for the aerial from your headunit :) think the fuse is in driver footwell

there should be a setting on your head unit that only allows it to pop up only when the radio is on :)

Or swap it with my broken ariel that never goes up! :)

To disable it totally, without going the fuse route, eother take the rear panel out and pull the plug or the easier option unplug from the head unit and disconnect the blue wire (aerial feed)

Seriously though, instead of totally disconnecting it and if your headunit doesn't have the option, you could simply fit a switch into the power line, then you can control it; switch it on should you need it.

i think il pull the headunit and disable it from there as suggested keeps it simple quick and tidy

swap it with my broken one as i want a working ariel

lol sounds an ideal option lol it extends about 2 or three sections dunno how big its supposed to be.
