Been outbid on this original stereo any idea what one would be worth I have less than an hour to make my mind up:biggrin:

Its only worth what you want to pay for it, and what you will feel like if you loose it for 20quid

So you're after an original unit (which will work in the UK)...? I'm not sure on the value as I reckon many are a little "tired" nowadays mate.....

....If Lorenzo's is not suitable, I may also have an original unit from a UK spec car. Although I don't remember if I kept the one from my blue ZX when I put the bluetooth system in (I may have popped it back into the red one when I sold it). I can check my garage to see what I have left - it's yours FOC if I have it mate!

I have binned about a dozen of these Z units - Tape players, cd players and even oem CD changer controls that are fitted to the inside of the centre armrest. :blushing:

 

Advertised a couple on ebay, but never had any takers. Never expected anybody would actually pay something for them tbh.

 

So in terms of value - thats entirely up to you.

No Chris it went for £46 (including postage) I didnt rebid as it would of ended over £50

I wouldnt bin anymore mate as these cars get older a lot of owners would want there cars original as posible.

Gary, I have the oem CD changer controls that are fitted to the inside of the centre armrest. Never tried to see if it works...Unfortunately I don`t have any pictures of it and the car is not in the UK at the moment. But if you are willing to wait , I will bring it to you later in the spring...free.

I only have the original UK spec RDS radio cassette; but it does have the facility to add the OEM CD player. I guess I must have put the CD in my red ZX when I sold it!

 

But the radio is yours FOC mate - it did work when I took it out of my red ZX many years ago......
