Jspec parking mast. If you're into that sort of thing it'll manifest itself as an erection on your front bumper. Hth.

Looks like a parking wand control, certainly not standard from factory, but maybe dealer fit? Does your car have its original front bumper?

It is standard as in it's a Jspec option. It is the parking assist arial on the n/s of the front bumper. I have one on my Slicky. It raises about 8" to show the front of the car when parking.

ahhh a sensable answer at last, will give it a go tomorrow and see wot happens. i did notice that u cant see much of the front of the car when trying to park, or much out of the back

just looked at it and there is a sort of ariel on the bumper, however it dosent do anything when pressing the button, guess its broken

That's the arial mate. Should raise and lower as already said. Might be a loose connection dude.
