far to cold mate for this country I have already fixed one burst pipe at the back of the garage will probely be more when it starts to thaw.

yep i got all the snow off the Z before as was thinking of covering it up for a bit, i stopped when i seen the glass was frozen solid inside and out think i'll wait till we see above zero for a while

lowest ive seen is the zed reading -14 a week back in the morning when i was trying to scrape ice off the windscreen. that was at 8am, by 1pm it had risen to a nice -1 which at that temp i was out sun bathing on the balcony as it had warmed up lovely.

recently its been hovering around the -8 mark at night and between -1 and 2 degrees during the day.

We had -19 in our van the other morning lol.

I don't even know the exact temprature. I just look out the window, think "Zed won't drive in this crap", get depressed then start to walk for 40mins in the snow to get to work :(

Peter

I had -12 the other night on the astra on the motorway around preston. Obviously at that temperature grit salt becomes useless so needless to say i was watching that like a hawk to make sure it didnt drop anymore!

Stupidly cold though, my zed has been left with its nice jacket of snow since it came back from scotland. So I Have driven it once this month... does make u think is the insurance and tax worth it! lol

On Monday morning it was -14 when I left home; that's the coldest I have seen it.....

......I believe that Chesham was the coldest place in England on Sunday night at -18 or thereabouts. I only live 4 miles from Cheshamso it's no surprise it was so cold the next day.

It's been a nice toastie -1 to 0 the last two days; I reckon I'll be out in my shorts this afternoon:lol:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

LOL - no way Gary!! The risk of shrinkage and the accessibility of the world wide web - not a wise combination!!!

Sure was when it's this cold!! Although on many a sunny (albeit cold) winter's day I have been known to drop the roof......

.....but I put the heated seats and head-rest "air-scarf" blowers on full blast to ward off the cold:smartass:
