Hello does anyone had this problem? If oil sensor worn out is it just a oil pressure gauge stop working or is that more serious that all oil pressure in engine is gone? Because my car have this problem oil gauge is showing low and engine is shaking, is that can be that is no oil pressure at all in my engine?

I left my car with this problem for 3 weeks and now today I decide to try to have a look I turn engine on and after half minute engine turns off and after that is doesn't start at all. Is this oil sensor can course this problem?

have you checked the oil level?

Oh dear, the sensor/guage is poor, you need to check your levels as a matter of course on these cars. Has it seized? Is it turning and just won`t fire, if it`s silent then i fear the worst. Or it could be a freaky electric problem. Good luck

because car was ok, engine was leaking little bit of oil. And I was tuping up byt nearly 1,5l oil level was ok. but after few days oil level was over the maximum. IS to much oil in the engine can course this problem as well?:crying:

The sensor tends to get blocked over time, most fit an aftermarket oil press gauge. A new Nissan sensor is around £70.

Drain the oil and put some fresh in to the correct level. Too much oil is not good, depends on how much oil over the max you have in, but if you have over filled, it can cause all sorts of problems, the oil needs to move freely, if there is too much oil, it can blow seals, foam, hydrolocking. Get it out and start again.

I purchased a Tridon oil pressure sensor (Australia) the seller on ebay gave a 100% fitment guarantee. I bought the part and it didn't fit. It didn't even look like it would fit. There was only one electrical contact (should be two) I contacted them immediately because I had just booked a mechanic for a list of jobs on my Zed.

After several days they are suggesting this

Replace it with a genuine Nissan one and it will work again for 10 years.

I thought the genuine Nissans was known to be a problem. Also expensive. But OK,;I'll look into that

OEM part# 25070-30P01. This is the mechanism inside one - quite complicated. Buy OEM.
