Recommended oil

Planning an oil change, filter etc anybody know how much oil the engine holds please, i dont yet have a workshop manual! The car is 1990 300zx tt manual. Also whilst on the subject which grade/manufacter is recommended for good protection from cold? cheers

    10w/40 is the oil reccomended but you can use other ie: a fully synthetic oil if you wanted too
