Yes you need a series 2 climate ecu and the series 2 pod. Direct plug and play, but they are getting hard to get hold of.

I've set the temp at 40 and although the heater is pushing out warm air it is only at my feet. Is there no way to re direct it to the door vents and the facia vents?

Although youve set your temp at the highest setting, the actual temp coming out wont have actually reached 40 unless on a long run.

There are sensors which detect the temp inside the cabin and determine where the air comes out when at the desired temp.

If you set it to say 26-28 you will find once up to that temp you will get air through the facia and door vents.

In the diagnostic mode, you are supposed to be able to adjust levels and settings, but mine didnt seem to do much, which is why i changed to series 2 climate.

changed mine to a series 2 . one of my most usefull mods

cant recomend it enough.also Groovers white leds all round another top mod

Make sure your pipework is all in place, especially the one near your knees as this ducts the air for the door vents, mine was slightly out of place but now I am all toasty
