I like the city of Bath any time of year, but this week they have a Christmas market so we decided to pay a visit.

 

It was a nice crisp sunny morning after the fog lifted and what better than a ZX for a 100 mile drive each way. I love the M4 when it's empty and cold; especially if there are 3 litres and 2 turbos at my disposal.....:whistling:

 

We had a good day out, soaked up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoyed lunch in The Pump Room. Followed by a good drive home....

Nice! good to see its getting use over winter! Ive got a 300mile round trip to look forward to in a few weeks - avoiding motorways wherever possible :)

......I always try and get an end space; and then park just over the outside edge. Otherwise I just know that some twonk in a people carrier will park next to me and their rancid offspring will fling their door open into my car:angry:

I was there on Saturday, really good for soaking up a little christmas cheer. I used to enjoy parking my old zed in the podium car park to see how many car alarms I could set off! :)

yeah anyone else realise you seem to walk a lot further to tesco or asda, because your parked at the other end of the car park?
