There is always talk about wheel nuts coming loose when it gets cold.

 

Just wondered if anyone knew what is the recomended torque setting for wheel nuts for the zed??

You should never have your nuts too tight. Even restrictive underwear can seriously reduce the sperm count. :lol:

iirc it's around 80nm. Also put some copper slip on the threads as this will help keep them in.

Nuts tightness is always relative to the loosness of the flange :D

My nuts always get tighter in the cold :w00t:

74-82lbs . mine are on at 80lbs

I think you will find its the streched thread of the nut and studs that cause this, I sugest you search this option

i agree awith allan, its the old nut on new wheels that cause the probs, new set of bolts will prevent this
