There is always talk about wheel nuts coming loose when it gets cold.

 

Just wondered if anyone knew what is the recomended torque setting for wheel nuts for the zed??

iirc it's around 80nm. Also put some copper slip on the threads as this will help keep them in.

74-82lbs . mine are on at 80lbs

actually, noooooo, think it's newton meters matey! just looking now, been looking at an air rifle, my head is in foot pounds!!! BRB....

I think you will find its the streched thread of the nut and studs that cause this, I sugest you search this option

i agree awith allan, its the old nut on new wheels that cause the probs, new set of bolts will prevent this

ive always believed not to put oil or grease on wheel studs:confused:..never have on mine in over 30 years driving
