I've been looking around, & was wondering if the Z32 LWB (2+2) ever came with a hardtop (no targas, not sure if a N/A came with a hartop)?

slick tops were the base model ... Now they're are rare beast ;)

Base model!:surrender:

I would say that the SWB TT is actually the most focused performance variant of the 300zx as apposed to being a base model.

The base models are surely the NA's either SWB or LWB.

RB30Z32?

As in RB30DETT?

As in monster skyline engined Z32?

Or (rather more disappointingly) are your initials RB, your age 30 and... well the rest is obvious?

Please tell me, you intend to create the mother-of-all beasts once you've found your donor car..

Shit tops, ahem - sorry, slick tops were SWB only. The logic behind this was, that if you can't afford the luxury t-bar - then you probably couldn't afford children either:lol: Hence why all sluckys are 2 seats only. Mr Nissan told me this, so I know it to be 100% true.

I'm using a TT gearbox with a RB bellhousing.

As for the question about the Hardtop, as this is a track car, mostly, I'd like to lose the T-tops. I read a article about someone building a track Z. In the first part he says its a 2+2 then says he's had the T-tops removed by using a roof cut from a donor car out of a breakers yard. I was under the impression that there where no 2+2 hardtops (I wonder if they were available in the US), but I thought I'd ask.

Anybody know if a 2 seater roof panel would fit a 2+2?
