Finally got my Z back after a week getting a makeover...pearlescent white to ice white (Audi Ibis White).

Personally I love the new look and it's turned out even better than I expected.

Looks a totally different car to before.

Just the new wheels to put on...

Hope you like it!

Lovely colour bud, will look the dogz when your new wheels are on and you get rid of the orange wing indicators and change for clear to complete your makeover:thumbup1:

Nice mate, looks really clean and the spoiler looks great - i love the standard one.

I love white cars, but the zed looks particularly cool in a clean crisp white.

Thanks for all of the kind comments guys; glad you like it!

I have to say that the help and advice gained from this forum was fantastic and contributed hugely to making it a much smoother process than it would have been. Both the workshop and I are very thankful!

Thanks also to Andy Isherwood for selling me his spoiler (which really was in mint condition!) and also Pablito for suggesting that I should fill in the radio aerial recess (made perfect sense as my antenna was broken and I had no plans to replace it).

The clear wing indicator lenses are a definite, although there are so many sellers that I'm not sure which of them to go for. I've heard some of them are very poor quality so if any one has a recommendation, that would be great.

Still not sure if the black pinstripe should go back on...

If mine wasn't black, it would be white...

Looking very nice a crisp!

(what's going on just behind the rear off side wheel?)

dont bother with the pinstripe. but do bother to put the black sticker on the spoiler the round up the rear light cluster lifts the whole rear

Have you thought about getting the black sticker to go on the back of the spoiler to follow the line of the lights round?

.....like i said - i think it's a great design for an aerial, but if your not going to use it, why have it there? I didn't even notice it was gone, just goes to show how natural yours looks.

Looking forward to seeing it with the wheels. :thumbup1:

I thought that too - you can get them from the traders on here - MJP or Mr F i think. bout 20 or 25 quid i think

Also with regards to the pinstripe, why dont you buy this and just try it out to give you an idea?

If you like the look then you can get it done properly.

i think the pinstripe should go back on ...have a look at soem of the others and you will see it seems to define the swage lines , mine wont be geting its stripe back on but only because i have gone for a wide arch rebuild ....and teh rear bumber doesnt have a stripe line . looking very nice though , white is the new red ..............

Hi Shamaz,
