.....and as for new parts; you can't go wrong with Mike Feeney at MJP!

Richard:cool3:

Last time I asked Mike they were £249 less vat each :helpsmilie:

A second hand one should only be about £25 or so and they don't wear out that easily.

ar these the ones you grind the front off heat up and punch out the wrong way?

No, that's the HICAS outer ones mate.

its the circular one taht sits between the wishbone and hub assembly? correct? theres a 23mm nut on there i believe which try as i might i could not get leverage on from any angle. whole new corner from jeff is cheap as it it

That bolt is a bugger to get too. I ended up drilling a hole into it and then split it with a cold chisel.

I should think Jeff will be able to sort you out with one. That's who I got mine from :)

Send Mike at MJP a message, you might be able to get a ball joint replacement and press it out and new one press in. You now can for the front lower ball joint and they are about £35 each - they might be the same.

It would be advisable to remove the arm to remove/refit ball joint and while your at it replace the 2 bushes at the subframe side.

It was Mike that told me they aren't available separately from the wishbone :confused1:

Oops! You replied while I was editing my message. I mean't MIGHT. It wasn't long ago that the ball joint for the front wasn't available on its own, now it is.

If Andy does end up buying complete wishbones, I suggest he tries CZP (US) - much cheaper.

lol. You could be right mate, I spoke to him about it in the spring. So it may well be available on it's own now. Would make sense.
