DTA ECU has no pot

I bought a new ecu from DTA with a 555 map on an exchange basis.

 

Just packing mine up to send back and noticed theres no pot on the new one Dan sent me. Just the hole with pot missing. Ive not opened his one as he's put white paint on the screws to stop tampering.

 

I need the pot dont I ? If I send mine back surely I will be buggered.

    ummm.. I think I would just be happy with my old one. Looking through the hole I think I can see where the pot was supposed to be connected. So maybe its been tampered with in the past. Plus that screw next to the led is missing as well. Dont seem to healthy to me !

     

    Maybe I should send them both back and have him socket my one instead.

    The screw next the the LED just holds the pot bracket. As Eric said, some don't have the pot, seen loads like that, nothing to worry about.
