What does this mean guys,

I got the impression that because its got a high performance clutch its been fettled with and someone didnt grease the bearing when putting it back together, but ive searched on google and its saying its a disaster in the making?

Featured Replies

is there any play in your pedal? should be a little bit so the clutch isn't always slightly dis-engaged, does it slip?

could the friction plate be glazed and slipping due to poor contact? clutch needed adujustment or pressure plate has had it. sounds like gearbox off job whatever

Have you fitted a new clutch and its making a noise or has it just started, if its a new clutch or old it could be the release bearing fooked

It doesnt smell or smoke, I think theres a little bit of slack, like just in the movement of the pedal, I dont think it slips, it certainly pulls well enough so i dont think it does.

I didnt put it in but the guy i bought it off said it had a paddle clutch and fidanza flywheel fitted, i would have thought if that was true they would have done it properly.

Im confused now, not that that takes much, are you saying its just the pedal squeaking

No its not the pedal, it feels like its the plate itself, if you do a fast take off it barely squeaks, if you do it carefully it wont squeak, but most of the time it does.

It doesnt judder in first gear.
