Falkens, id stay away from Bridge stone potenza's, i have them on mine and hit a central reservation barrier recently while driving normally when the rear stepped out on me. also when i first got the car, i was bring it back down the M11 and went to overtake a lorry and the wheels span in 4th doing 60mph. so its either my tyres / suspension, or a mix of the two.

Falken 452's i love them and im on my 4th set. just orderd some for the vec last night aswell lol!!!

Ive had bridgestone and good year on the zed and i hated them in the wets. my mates said the same with there type r's

Toyo Proxis or Perrelli Pzero, Only tyres I will buy for the zed

Falken 452's have better grip in the wets than the proxis but there isnt much in it.

proxis are about £20 a tyre dearer and ware down quicker. thats why i opt for the falkens now :)

If you have deep pockets then you cannot go wrong with the new Goodyear F1 asymetrics.

They have been voted the best performance tyre in many comparison tests; second best was the Continental Sport Contact 3....

I have the Goodyears on my ZX and the Contis on my SLK - both are superb in all wet/dry conditions; even during "sprited" driving....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
