i have one as well, still has a turbo seal gone on drivers side, but the engine runs and you can see it running before taking it off the car. also has the wiring harness yet you would be better off buying a new one, would also need a new plenum.

its shagged :O lol only good for body panels and interior and gearbox

sorry to hear that mate . if it owes you £700 my advice would be to break it . you will probably get a fair share of your money back that way . you say the engine is shagged . what are we talking . compression , bottom end , turbos ?

saffy how much are you looking to pay for a engine, i think is the best one. also is yours auto or manual?

Dinnae be daft!

Did Jeff say that the bodywork on it was ok?

I'd be speaking to John Dixon and get the engine that he has for sale, rebuilt by Nissan.

Than you've got a good condition engine inside your good condition shell.

mines is auto i want to keep it auto have other family members who will drive it im thinking around the 200 mark :$ lol the top end on the left and the left hand turbo and the right hand turbo has started to smoke slightly

Saf was good to meet you today, so sorry the news was not better, but it was best you knew the full extend of problems with your zed.

The top end valve train noise was very bad as was the fact the near side turbo was seized, but the nail in the coffin as it were was the no 6 cylinder been so low on compression (50 psi) and was also full of oil at that.

Remember also your engine wiring loom is complete toast and will need changing with the engine.

Sometimes you have to take it on the chin and dig into your pockets (or dads maybe??) but having the correct info is important.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Well, if its the passenger side turbo that's fubar, and the drivers side is ok, my drivers side turbo is leaking oil, but the passenger side is ok, get my engine for £200 complete with turbos, swap your plenum over to my engine, and the drivers side turbo off your car onto the drivers side of my engine, and you have a working twin turbo engine, simples. then all you need is a wiring harness.
