Any chance I could buy SMW license plate off you before you sell silver streak?. Been trying to get this back even since I sold the car to gubbins with the clause of getting the plate back once he put a new one on. Also tried with Leigh but everone seems to sell it on before I get a chance. I feel like I'm chasing my tail now.

It's not a problem if you keep the V5 and do the transfer straight away mate! Just agree it with the buyer before hand like I did when I sold my red ZX. There was no way I was going to lose my B5 RFS plate as you can't get "B" plates for less than an arm and half a leg nowadays!!!

 

It is quite easy to retain or transfer a reg plate if you remember at the time!!
