car over fuelling

my 300zx turbo has suddenly developed a problem of overfuelling and flooding the engine with fuel. The mechanic is stumped. Can anyone shed any light on this please

    Temp sensor ? the one that goes to the ECU...if the temp sensor is broken and telling the ECU that the engine is overheating , the ECU floods the engine with fuel in an attempt to cool the engine.
