Second One

1st kit if the hidden Intercooler pipes. (not idea if they will actually fit, the angles are not as per stock, but its hard to compare)

2nd kit is the Hard pipes you see in the engine bay that run to the Throttle bodies, and the next to them.

1st kit is for an FMIC I would think!

2nd Kit - please refer to the honorable gentleman's previous answer ;-))

So does this kit replace the two standard intercoolers for a big front one ?

does this fit a 99 spec front bumper ?

Ive just bought that intercooler!

Will let you know how it fits.

My mate had one from them on his 200sx without problem..

do not get either kit. iv got the 2nd pic kit. rubbish fit they need cutting down on the tb pipes, then you havent got the rolled ends which makes it harder to get a tight seal, ie little boost leaks. go for a good set like z1 motorsport kit

FWIW - I sell the original "Smithy's Place" hard pipe kit which is made from 1.2mm polished stainless steel. These were originally designed and tested by Smithy on his own Zed and are guaranteed to fit perfectly. Also, they come with a choice of red or blue silicone couplers and stainless steel jubilee clips (T-bolt clamps available as separate option). These are made to order and can take upto 3 weeks to delivery (depending on how busy the metal workshop is).

Prices:

Smithy's Hard Pipe Kit (TT): £240.00

T-bolt clamp kit: £35.00

Have sold dozens of these to members on here and owners as far afield as Indonesia, Australia and even a few to Argentina!

Let me know (via PM please as I don't often come onto the forums) if you wish to place an order.

Regards,

Dan

its true about cutting them down, me and my mate on the forum both bought a set and both has to grind a little off, however, not that much so that it gets rid of the rolled edge??

im sure mine don't leak, and my mate knows his doesn't as hes done a pressure test on the system. you get what you pay for i suppose. i bought them because i bought my zed very cheap because it had some bits nicked off it, 1 of which was the hard pipes, so because i already blew most of my cash on the car itself i had to go cheap. but like i said, it does the job fine if you don't mind grinding them down slightly.. In an ideal world i would always buy the best of the best. but i just cant afford it.

Anyway, if you can afford it get z1 motorsport kit or as dta said the smithy's ones, if not, then get the cheapy ebay ones and borrow a grinder!

He's right, they are gash rubbish, the clips and hose connectors are reasonable quality but thats it.

Too late, already ordered the second ones!

And now sending them back !

I never even attempted to fit them as they arrived

shuffed in a box with badly scored pipes!

No wrapping or protection to stop the pipes getting

bashed about at all !

Not a happy chappie !

too late, you've discovered they are gash..!

well worth the extra spend
