i dont know if im the first to ask this but my rev counter is going nuts one minute it works then it does then it goes bonkers with needle darting all over the place has this happened to anyone else or is it just me lol

Probably a dry/cracked solder joint on the back of the instrument cluster, my friends pulsar did exactly the same. Bashing the dash would make it work for a short while again. Ended up taking it out and re soldering the joint.

cheers guys no it has never stalled it has trouble starting in the damp at the moment but once its running its fine its just the dam rev meter is doing my head in as all i can see is this red needle bouncing around all over the place lol cheers gaz it may come in handy if thats ok?
