Well now i have one TT with twin, and one with single, id have to say I'm actually torn between them, i love the look twin give. but I'm now loving the sound of the single.

I think the thing to remember is, with twin exits if you put a decat on you lose some of the back pressure needed to help the turbo seal do its job. with a single exit id guess you get the extra back pressure needed. OK this is not relevant if you have a N/A but worth a thought.

I had a single on mine, prefered it to the dual. Actually had the can made by C & C Exhausts in Hillington and we welded up the rest at my work.

Twin for looks, single for Sound....

but single looks shite, and twin does'nt sound shite....so Twin wins.

Single exit wrecks the symetry of the car, IMO.

couldnt put my finger on what it was about the single exit

single sounds better by a small margin, but twin looks better overall. So unless you're going for a single side exit, probably twin would be the better choice. Best for looks I've seen is twin round-rectangles one either side.
