Just about got the engine bay finished , need to buy a bling top rad mount and sort a few bits and bobs out .

Engines running ok , got a bit of a misfire and sounds a bit rattly top end i,m hoping it,s just the followers that need to pump up fully cos i was told the engine had no rattles at all !!!

Refitted the oil cooler

mate that is seriously looking awesome!! i love the cam/throttle covers and the polished plenum. looks like a brand new car

Looks Fantastic mate, top marks to you and Daz

Looking fantastic mate  I have the same FMIC but opted not to use the twin filter set up as i was told it would not run right  Also have you used the air filters that came with the kit ? I thought they looked a bit cheap.

I ran a twin-filter setup through a single MAF like Alan is here and had lumpy idle problems, however the setup I had had a longer tube coming down from the MAF so that two Apexis would fit. Whether this was the cause or there was some other little fault I don't know.

love it looks very serious indeed. ive heard some bad press about those air filters getting wet and not drying causing issues with the maf tho. just worth noting

also what did you do with powersteering and fuse box gubbings? like that look very much

I junked the Hicas and used an aftermarket resovoir but had to mod the inner wing to fit it , as for the fuse box and now the PTU .http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=139303

Hiya Dave , we,ve been running it up today , it,s a bit hard to tell at the mo but it is running quite well , tickover is high but it probably needs to be driven to see properly , Rubble i don,t know whether they changed the filters cos i didn,t have to use the fitting kit supplied for the filters , they fastened straight to the pipwork instead of using the silicon joiners as supplied ???

and before anyone says...............yes that's a drill next to me!:ninja:

Is coming on nicely tho' matey:thumbup1:

Very clean and smart looking. Well done matey, looks great!!!!

That's what i was told, lumpy idle. The air filters looked like they were more suitable for washing my arm pits in the bath than filtering air LOL.

Looks awesome. Man I wish I had these skills!

Yeah but he can't cook or clean :x: :tongue_smilie:

That looks absolutely mint buddy :D Will have to organise a meet before xmas to see you two - it's been waaaaaay too long :)
