As some of your may know ive been restoring and modifying the Zed for about 3 years now and a lot has been done i cant imagine how many hours has been spent working on the car making sure everything is done at its best.

The car still seems like it needs alot of work to be complete but im finding it hard to find the time and enthusiasm to work on it lately.

As im no mechanic or in the car trade at all working on the car has been one long learning process. Hitting wall after wall of complications with the modifications has taken its toll and im not sure if to carry on or give up.

I know i would regret selling up and not finishing the car as ive put so much effort and money in to the car.

But im not sure if reality is kicking in and realizing i may not ever finish the car at the rate im going its just going to be one big money pit that never gets finished.

What would you do?

Joey p, Vodkashots any help or Zed meets would be great i have plenty of land to hold alot of Zeds at my unit :)

Thanks Guys

lol once we finish yours want to start on mine ;)

But on a more serious note, yours in a lot better position than mine, Ive got parts of my car all across the country, i think some of my car parts are even taking a trip to disneyland Paris with groover

At least yours looks like its getting done, mine just looks like its slowly falling apart with everything ive been taking off it recently to sort out.

I too have had the "that's it I've had enough" moment, but i have to keep reminding my self that its all going to be worth it later once its done, i even have people asking me "is it finished yet?", and i would love to tell them yes, but to be honest although its a slow process, i find taking my time with it and not rushing it, is the better option, id rather take my time and get it right than rush it and bugger it up. just wish some of my nuts where not so stiff lol

whats best, weekend or week day?

Weekends only for me, but glad to help if i can. Joely and i were just saying would be good to catch up soon! So what better way than to spread the love...

Me too! I hate it, people don't understand how much we put into these cars, it's finished when it's finished! :gun_bandana:

Excellent sounds like a great team of zed lovers is forming here :)

If we can arrange a date good for all of us, ill start thinking of getting a plan of action together.

Thanks everyone

np bud, i got a new contract starting soon, but its local to me, so if you arrange a time ill see if i can be there for you. ill bring me tools :D

Stick to it... we all go through this stage...

Even when you car is finish, you still do the same thing...

But as soon as you sit back and think about what else you can get that will replace your pride and joy... the simple answer is always NOTHING.

Keep at it, finish it, and continue to enjoy it in the future. :)
