Advice needed on rear fogs

I know this has been done to death but my one is a little different.

 

My zed is a UK spec but I'm ditching the rear bumper (with fogs) for a JDM smoothed one, am I right in thinking that I already have the wiring I need in place (including relays)?

 

There is a plug hanging out of the back of the car that the old fogs connected to, so can I just connect this wire to the inner brake lights and use those as the fogs?

 

Any advice would be great as I'm not that good with lighting :sad:
