EGR Removed - What can I use the feedhole for?

Hi

Having removed the EGR and blocked the EGR feed port on the 'manifold'! - I am now looking for a mount hole/point for my AFR - is the EGR port (I assume) too close to the action to be usable for AFR - or any other useful measurement/sensor?

 

I already have changed/upgraded the 'zorst'' up to the manifolds and I will have to remove one of the downpipes and drill it out/weld a new bung for the AFR if the above is a no-no, which I suspect it will be.

 

As a side question - has anyone used the port for anything useful at all?

    I've known of them in the manifold before (on other vehicles)

    If you are using a wideband bosch sensor then it will be too hot there and you will get sensor overheating errors.
