lost all power and Nissan cant find it??

could be a fried ecu, or might even be something as small as maf got wet or ptu died.

Need to know if it turns over, or what else.???

Looks good condition though even as parts

I was thinking the same looks a nice car! Typically electronics/electrical by the fault description. Could be a bargain!

surely Nissan would Know?/

Nissan would not have a clue, their techs would be about 18 and think its an antique.

i thought you had recieved a bill for your tt thats playing up that was sum where near that sum? :s not being nosey or what but you want two? or you had enough of the misbehaving one?

Looks better than the last one you was looking at mate and as someone else said it's worth a punt :)

you could be real cheeky and find out where he took to be looked at and ring them saying your him and ask then to remind you what that looked at :)

Yes i was interested when i saw the car at that price, as you will see i replied with the £1000 price after which again put me off,

i was going yo have it thinkong £500 and stick my lump in it,

But £1000 NONO

ah thats fair, pretty new to teh zed thing so im on here constantly really trying to learn, so i see peoples posts and i like see how they get on :D

Didn't think they put airbag steering wheels on '92 cars ?

Seems a bit strange

Oddly that was my first thought - that it must be later model UK car. Might be worth checking the chassis number to see what it really is.

when it says lost all power do they mean engine power or electrics?

mine lost all engine power when it committed suicide! although the cambelt was intact it was also the problem.

the bottom pulley was spinning but the belt wasn't

could be a classic example to mask mechanical/engine problems

I have seen it several times where they fried/disabled the ECU or cut some important wiring on purpose, so you can't hear it running and leave you thinking you have a bargain as it's "just" some electronic problem

Asked what was ment by went dead and got this reply.

Hi

Sorry but the engine won't turn over, the starter motor isn't making a noise at all so not sure whether its the engine or the electrical system, the engine has been taken out of the car by nissan and the electrical system has been fully tested. But they still didn't know what was wrong with the car.

Hope this helps

same as me,

nissan wouldnt take the block out would they,?

asked which nissan garage, replied" my mate used to work for Nissan" did a private job

Wel the advert is a pack of lies then......

A few days ago i was going down the motorway and the car lost all power and the engine shut off. I had it towed to the nearest nissan dealer, and had them have a look to try and find out the cause of the problem.

8.5 Hours hours of labour at a rather large price they told me they still had no clue what was wrong with the car, because everything seemed to be in working order.

Well anyone still left "interested " in this ????

im not

The whole thing looks like a pack of lies/scam

Hi all

Looking to get back into Zeb scene, also been in touch with seller of this zeb and was told i could purchase for £1000. Seems to be too good to be true as he purchased it in May for £3999?

Also asked about the MOT & Tax on the Zeb and was told that he did not know but would check?

Keep on asking myself if i am doing the wright thing by not following up with sale what do you think?
