right peeps need some help if possible i have an 02 bmw compact insured with direct line 6 years no claims fully comp cover ends next year jan and i have my partner as a name driver think she has about 3 years no claims

 

now if i buy this z from ireland am gonna have to insure and i need the six years no claims but its on the beemer policy

 

would i be beter getting my partner to insure the beemer put me down as a name driver and i insure the z this way i get to use my six years no claims oh yea direct line wont cover me for theft on the z unles its got imobiliser and a tracker all fit an imobilser but i aint fitting a tracker so will have to be with another company

 

any help would be g8 :thumbup1:

phoned the they said the only time they could mirror my ncb is if i was the only driver on the policy i have the mrs down as a name driver

How about - keep the Beemer as it is and insure the ZX on a classic policy.

 

You won't need any no claims on the ZX then - although you will have limited mileage. You could pay around £2-300 with about 5k miles p/a; I have another daily driber and I'm with Lynbrooks for the ZX.....
